AQUATIC BODYWORK is a complete intensive training bringing together two pioneering forms of AQUATIC BODYWORK: WATSU® and WATA®.
It is recognised by the international professional training organisation (WABA – Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association, USA) and by the IAKA (Institut für Aquatische Körperarbeit, Switzerland). Training hours are accredited on WABA’s international records.
This training is particularly suited to upgrading people working in educational, psychological, or medical institutions, as well as to anyone interested in AQUATIC BODYWORK.
It teaches the theoretical and practical knowledge allowing students to work as practitioners or therapists in AQUATIC BODYWORK.
The acquisition of the method is closely linked to an experimentation and personal growth process. It is not a substitute for therapy though.
The training duration for becoming a practitioner in WATSU® and WATA® is about 2-3 years. It varies according to the knowledge and prior occupation of students.
